The Laborie Wellness Centre invites community members from Laborie and environs to an educational lecture series at the Banse La Grace Combined School. The series will cover a variety of topics over the course of three days. On Monday July 25, a lecture presented by Nurse Verna Eugene and Mr. Anthony Robinson will focus on Sexually Transmitted Infections. On Wednesday, July 27, officers from the Saint Lucia Fire Service will speak on Fire Safety while Laborie police officers will speak on Personal Safety. On Thursday, July 28, Mrs. Fadia Campbell will speak on the Nutrition and Management of Diabetes and Hypertension. All lectures begin at 6:30 p.m.
