The Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation informs of the passing of Mr. Hunter Joseph Francois, CBE, on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Mr. Francois served as Parliamentary Representative for the East Castries constituency for the period June 1964 to April 1974.

An official funeral for the late Hunter Francois will be held at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. There will be no internment.

The body will lie in repose at the House of Parliament on Monday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Selected government officials will view the body from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday. Viewing will be open to the public from 11 a.m., Monday.
